Romantic and amazing do not even begin to describe Sarah and Nic’s destination wedding in Portugal! How did your sweetie propose?
“While I was in his arms! I could feel his nervousness when he asked me—but the answer was obvious!”

How did you choose your gown?
“I chose the dress that fit me the best and gave me the most confidence. It also helped that it was the only one that had made my mom cry!
My day of dress shopping, though, was very surprising. I had been to one other dress store before my appointment at Lea-Ann Belter and my favourite dress from that store was a sleeved ballgown. This was more in line with my expectations of the dress I wanted, as from the start, I had it in my head that I wanted sleeves or straps. I had tried on a couple of sleeved dresses at Lea-Ann Belter; however, as there were so many gorgeous looking strapless dresses, I decided to explore that style. Once I had tried on my dress, I instantly knew it was something special. The lace detail was a feature I loved and the dropped waist was something I hadn’t thought of, but looked really flattering. I had tried on another dress after what had ended up being “the one,” but it didn’t compare to the one I had selected and immediately put my dress back on and sealed the deal!”
What was your favorite wedding day moment?
“I would have to say that my favourite moment was when the doors had opened in the church. I remember that the light had flooded in and I caught eyes with my husband-to-be. His smile was something I won’t forget.”
Describe your wedding day in 5 words or less:
“Happy. Loud. Carefree. Colourful. Surreal.”
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
“We went to Italy! Positano was a dream.”
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
“If you can, get married abroad. I was on the beach the day before my wedding having drinks with my best friends (excuse my tan lines)!”
