Love lights up a room and casts a spell of beauty over everything and everyone.
A bride can be beautiful (like our lovely Stacy), her groom can be darling (take her wonderful James.). The dress can be amazing (hello, Ruby!) and the wedding’s overall style the kind that Grace Kelly would appreciate. But it’s the intangibles that really give a wedding day that special, take-your-breath-away glow that imprints itself on pictures and memory.
Combining style and substance, Stacy and James’s Indianapolis wedding day is the kind that, when looking at the pictures, you just know there’s a sweet story. Luckily for us, we got to hear it!
“I absolutely loved my dress and am having a hard time sending it for preservation because I just want to wear it again, so I’ve decided I’m going to wait a little bit! So unique and gorgeous, it caused immediate tears when I tried it on and each time I wore it for alterations all I could say was ‘I’ve just never seen anything like it, it is so perfect!’ The day itself was very special as it was the weekend of my 30th birthday. I had been out with my mom and some of my bridesmaids and was discouraged because I was finding things on many dresses that I liked but nothing was hitting the mark. When I tried Ruby on I could not stop smiling or look away from the mirror. I left on cloud nine and was then ushered to a surprise party that my husband had been planning with my family. I felt almost as special as I did on our wedding day! He is of course now allowed a break from surprises since he was planning this party at the same time as the proposal. I’m the lucky one.”
