There are moments on your wedding day when things will not go as planned. Enjoy them! They make for great memories and often excellent pictures. Take, for example, the moment when Cara was being walked down the aisle by her parents and, thanks to a brisk breeze, her veil wrapped itself around her mom and nearly flew off her head. Funny, heartwarming, and unforgettable. We hope she has prints made and hangs them in succession on her wall!
Married at Holland Marsh Wineries, Cara and Owen didn’t just plan their day, they pretty much made it. These two created the chuppah, place card settings, floral arrangements, signage, and décor themselves! Even Cara’s wedding gown had a one-of-a-kind touch—she swapped out the straps on her Astrid & Mercedes Luna gown for those from Madeleine.
