Joshua Tree Editorial Shoot | Desert Bride

Stark desert landscapes and the elegant Joshua tree called to us like the sea, so we packed up our 2016 gowns to head southwest to Yucca Valley, California. The air was so warm, bright and clear…perfect for our photo shoot at Homestead Modern, a stunning event venue ideal for any nuptial-related soiree from engagement parties to rehearsal dinners and intimate weddings.

Poised against the San Jacinto Mountains and inspired by the high desert, Wild West history, and music festival culture (Coachella Valley is a hop, skip and a jump away), this shoot was such fun to put together! Using anemone, air plant and eucalyptus, Morgan Wynia created some amazing florals, which, combined with the scenery, our gowns, and Tim Melidio‘s photographic wizardry, resulted in the dreamy SoCal desert alchemy you see below.
