If ever you’ve imagined exchanging vows before a picturesque fortress that dates back to the 13th century, this one’s for you!
Kelly and Tony were wed at Shortflatt Towers in Northumberland, UK. Shortflatt is a pele tower, which means that, when it was built, it was intended to be used as a watch tower—if danger approached, a fire would be lit to warn the garrison! Now, instead of trouble, it’s watching weddings, such as gorgeous, love-filled celebrations like Kelly and Tony’s. In addition to the dreamy scenery, pretty pastels (namely sage green) and a brass band framed their day, which was as timeless as the setting itself.
Throughout it all, Kelly wore a custom Lea-Ann Belter gown, whose figure-skimming shape was utterly modern, while off-the-shoulder sleeves spoke to when lords and ladies strolled the venue’s gardens.
