Peacock Inspired Wedding | Natalie + Timothy

You know the church in Sixteen Candles? That’s where Natalie and Timothy (who got engaged on the summer solstice in ICELAND) were married! Though an epic fun fact, Glencoe Union Church’s place in history in one of the more famous rom-coms of the ’80s wasn’t what made it the perfect place to wed. It was the parish which Natalie attended growing up.

After exchanging vows, this sweet duo headed off to the Skokie Country Club for their fabulous, peacock-inspired wedding…because that’s Tim’s (and now Natalie’s) last name. In a nod to San Francisco where the couple now live, there was a signature cocktail named The Mission and another called The Champlin for the dorm at Brown where they met.  The fireworks between Natalie and Timothy were echoed by an actual fireworks display (a surprise thanks to Natalie’s parents), after which everyone continued to celebrate.

Throughout it all, Natalie was a vision of free-spirited romance in her blush Diana gown, which she fell for at Chicago’s Bella Bleu Bridal!
