Engagement photos, especially those taken by a hidden photographer, pretty much guarantee all the romantic feels. When Anthony asked Justine to marry him, it was while they were taking a stroll on Block Island. He’d arranged to have their good friend (and excellent photographer) Sandy Aldieri document the moment ninja-style, and her captures pretty much say it all:
Now engaged, Anthony and Justine set about planning a timeless wedding at Salve Regina University, whose stately grounds and sea views set a breathtaking backdrop to their first day as Mr. and Mrs.
Searching for her wedding dress wasn’t a snap for Justine. She struggled to find the right gown, but when she slipped on her Lovely gown, she knew. So, take heart if you’ve not yet found The Dress!
How did your sweetie propose?
“After 8 years of dating, Anthony proposed to me in Block Island, on August 20, 2015. It is a special place to us as we had been traveling there the past few summers together. Anthony took me out to a nice dinner at one of our favorite restaurants on the island, The Spring House, followed by a ride out to the North Lighthouse for sunset. As we walked out to the dunes, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, I couldn’t have been happier! To top it off, he had hired our good friend, Sandy Aldieri of Perceptions Photography, to capture every moment of the proposal. (Sandy captured beautiful photos of this, as well.)”
