Who doesn’t love the idea of wedding in a secret garden? Just off Washington, D.C.’s bustling 16th Street NW sits Meridian House. Stepping into its walled gardens and gorgeous rooms is like going back in time to a more genteel and slower time. Designed by John Russell Pope—architect behind the Jefferson Memorial—Meridian House has got plenty of pomp, which is mitigated by its general sense of grace. It feels like someone’s home—just a really, really nice one. And that suited Jill and Nathan’s vibe to a T! The easy and abundant love between these two combined with their elegant, warm celebration fit the space like a glove.
We’re loving the bouquet of pastel bridesmaid dresses, Nathan’s deep navy suit, and, of course, our stunner of a bride in her Iris gown!
