Wedding Editorial at Cherokee Ranch + Castle

A wedding in a Scottish castle sounds so fabulous. Even more so when you don’t even have to travel to Europe to do it. That’s right, girls, there’s a 1450s Scottish-style castle in Colorado at Cherokee Ranch. That castle is exactly what inspired this dreamy photo shoot featuring (among other gorgeous elements) our Camille overskirt and lacey Luna jacket. Romantic, rustic and luxurious, this editorial is, naturally, like something out of a storybook (if that tale was more Outlander and less Cinderella).

Before you dive into the pretty (more of which you can peruse on Grey Likes Weddings), know that the reason Cherokee Ranch exists is due to a woman named Tweet, who purchased those 3,400 acres back in 1954 to use as the base of her cattle operation. She’s also the one who worked to protect the property by turning it into a wildlife sanctuary. Modern fairy tale, indeed.
