Just as the COVID pandemic began, Olivia and Sam met through Tinder. They connected instantly and spent the next two weeks chatting through the app about everything from music and film to, as Olivia put it, other nerdy things. Their first FaceTime date, a virtual happy hour, turned into a standing appointment, and for six weeks they got to know one another. When they finally met in person, Olivia knew then and there that Sam would change her life.
And he did, just as much as she changed his. In time, they became integral parts of one another’s lives, and their next step together came naturally!
A Little Sunshine, A Lot of Magic
Together, Olivia and Sam planned a bright, joyful wedding at The Cadillac Service Garage in Greensboro, North Carolina. In search of a romantic gown, Olivia headed to Bellissima in Winston-Salem and fell for Lea-Ann Belter Ezra, our sleek wedding dress with floral appliqué across the bodice that falls into gauzy off-the-shoulder straps. To add to the drama of her ceremony entrance and first dance, Olivia paired her column gown with an Electra detachable overskirt and a flower-scattered cathedral veil. Those accessory choices turned out brilliantly! On the day of, sunshine and a soft wind played in her overskirt and veil, adding a magical quality to every moment.
