When Jordan and Derek queued up at the library printer to pick up the syllabus for the same grad school class, sparks flew! Six years after their meet cute, they got engaged and began planning a Greensboro wedding. As any couple who hoped to marry in 2020 knows, the day envisioned required no small amount of recalibrating. For Jordan and Derek, that meant keeping their date to marry, hosting a small gathering, and postponing their larger celebration to 2021 (we hope Jordan wears her Bijou gown again!).
On October 3, Jordan and Derek exchanged vows in an intimate, livestreamed ceremony. Then, en route to their reception at GIA, a local restaurant, they stopped at Tanger Gardens, and it was magic. Beaming smiles and loving looks as far as the eye can see, which is exactly how it should be!
