Road to Reopening | Ivory Loft

Searching for a wedding dress that celebrates your style? If you live in Michigan, Ivory Loft is a must-go! Helping each bride be her own kind of beautiful is central to owner Beth’s vision for Ivory Loft, and something that informs every aspect of her business.

She’s curated a collection of gowns by independent designers tailored to her brides, whose tastes range from timeless to modern to fashion-forward. All that lovely is housed within a gorgeous, intimate, and welcoming building built in the 1860s. Best of all, when brides come for an appointment, they and their guests have the place to themselves. Each appointment is a completely private, one-on-one experience that ends with the pop of champagne when the bride finds her dress.

Fun fact—Beth wore a Lea-Ann Belter when she got married! As you can imagine, we’re beyond thrilled to be featured at Ivory Loft! Though temporarily closed to help stop the spread, Beth is busy behind the scenes getting ready for the day Ivory Loft welcomes back brides!

What are you doing with your time away from the shop?

“I have been busy renovating the basement of my shop. It’s a very old building (1860’s) and we need more room. The basement is a mini version of the main floor and where we plan to display our sale gowns, MOB, and bridesmaid dresses.”

What is this time making you value the most?

“My family.  This whole thing has forced me to slow down and cherish well-needed family time.”

What’s your fave Lea-Ann Belter gown and why?

“My favorite LAB gown is still my gown from 1995.  I could sell it in my shop today.  It was gorgeous then and my LAB is just as lovely today!”
