A gorgeous garden wedding at one of Rhode Island’s historic summer estates? Yes, please!
Married at Blithewold, a place with amazing gardens and a 45-room (!) mansion overlooking Narragansett Bay, Lydia and Victor’s day was nothing short of magic and totally in synch with their story. See, these two met as counselors at a sleepaway summer camp, and love spending time together outside in summer. So, when it came time to choose a spot upon which to tie the knot, one visit to Blithewold and they were hooked. The views and gardens are sumptuous, and, in a perfect nod to how they met, the grounds had a tent—a super nice, enormous one, but still a tent!
Together, Lydia and Victor planned a personal, heartfelt celebration highlighting their shared Ukrainian heritage, as well as honey favors provided by Victor’s dad, who has kept bees for 20 years. Lydia’s quest for the right dress ended at Jessica Haley Bridal, where she fell for one of our classic wedding dresses, Simone.
