Ultra-Romantic Apple Orchard Elopement II | Editorial

Picture it: An apple orchard, a perfect fall day, and a just-you-and-me marriage celebration. Now take a peep at the editorial images below…breathtaking, right? We shared part one of this shoot earlier in the week, in which the sun was high and drenched all it touched in brilliant light. If you’ve ever seen Pride & Prejudice (the one featuring Keira Knightley), the end of the movie when Keira as Elizabeth Bennett walks through misty dawn fields to meet Matthew MacFadyen’s Mr. Darcy is forever heart-flutteringly seared in your memory.

There is something about the light and heat and windswept moments of these images that reminds us of that scene. Maybe it’s our bride’s tousled, romantic style (she’s lovely in our Larissa gown) or the way the groom kisses her hand. Or maybe it’s the pretty, simple florals draped with sheer fabric. Whatever it is, though set in the same space as the part one, this shoot’s part two feels different, and offers some new ideas for anyone planning (or dreaming) of an intimate, elegant-but-informal wedding day!
