Whitney and BJ planned a St. Patrick’s Day wedding complete with shamrock head boppers, green bowler hats, and festive St. Patty’s Day necklaces for the reception. Before that, the only homage to the luck of the Irish were the groomsmen’s cufflinks and bow ties.
Putting together the day’s timeless, contemporary style came naturally to Whitney. She has a textile degree from Alabama and, together with her mom, founded The Piper Collection, through which they sell custom designer pillows in vibrant and eye-catching colors and textures.
Whitney’s appreciation of fine textiles and craftsmanship also influenced her gown choice. When she visited Ladies of Lineage, we’re proud to say that she was drawn to Lea-Ann Belter and fell in love with Marigold! Its sleek silhouette and peplum train are marvelous on Whitney, and we love her additions of spaghetti straps and a sparkly belt!
