Summer Evening Wedding in a Garden

A beautiful, lush garden and an elegant estate set the scene for Becky and Ben’s summer wedding. Glimmering with gold touches and alive with gorgeous blooms, their Princeton, NJ celebration had all the romance of an evening spent mingling with fireflies.

How did you choose your gown?

From Becky:

“As soon as I tried Ginger on, I knew it was the one. Honestly, the most important thing to me was comfort. I wanted to look and feel like myself. The dress had such a natural beauty to it. It was refined and elegant but at the same time, unpretentious. I wanted something I could dance in. I did A LOT of dancing that day.“

Tell us about your day! Did you have a theme or style in mind?

“Our wedding took place outside a large estate in our hometown of Princeton, NJ. The ceremony was outside underneath an old beautiful tree. The reception was held under a tent. Style was romantic summer’s night. Lots of gold and lots of floral accents. I wanted it to be unique. Each bridesmaid chose their own dress – it just had to be in the red family.”

“Ben is intelligent, loyal, handsome, hard-working, and really, really fun! “

Any advice for future brides/grooms?

“Have FUN. When planning, try not to sweat the small stuff. Not everything is going to be perfect but I promise it will be one of the best and most memorable days of your lives.”
