Timeless St. Louis Wedding | Brittany + Keating

What complements a wedding dress best? A happy, so-in-love, feeling-her-most-beautiful bride. This week’s proof of that is Brittany, who wore her Madeleine wedding dress like it was made for her…which it was! In addition to having great style, our striking bride knows a good thing when she sees it, from the instant she locked eyes with her future husband to the day she went shopping for The Dress at Town & Country Bridal.

How did you find The Dress?

“Now, I needed an amazing dress to marry the man of my dreams! I spent a day with my mom dress shopping and went to Town & Country Bridal. As soon as I saw the dress, Madeleine, I knew! I totally had a moment of tears and my mom and I screamed with excitement. We found the dress! The dress was everything that I had imagined for our wedding day-classic, timeless, elegant. It was absolutely stunning in every way. Not only that, but the dress had pockets which were extremely helpful! Madeleine was the most perfect gown for the most perfect day. To top it off, I wore a cathedral length veil- classic tulle material and felt like a princess.”

How did you guys meet and get engaged?

“I was on my way to attend a training class and, of course, I was running late. I pulled into the parking lot so quickly and had to abruptly stop, almost locking my brakes. An extremely handsome man was walking across the parking lot with bright blue eyes-eek! His face was priceless! It seemed as though he wasn’t sure if he was mad or if he was going to smile because I was so close to running him over with my truck. His arms were filled with binders and he was barely holding onto his coffee.

So I parked my truck and ran into the building, found the right training room and there he was! Sitting right in the front row. Holy moly- it was him! I was so embarrassed, but throughout the training class, I couldn’t stop looking at him. During our ice-breaker at the beginning of the training class, we both mentioned tennis. Turns out, he was teaching tennis at the time. Perfect!

After our training class, he was just about to leave and we both said our goodbyes to everyone. He was just about to walk out of the door, but he turned around and asked for my number so we could play tennis sometime.

Our first date was a tennis match. Game, set, match! It was love.

On December 19, 2014 we were playing tennis with my parents. He handed me a new can of tennis balls and asked me to open them. As I poured out the tennis balls into hand, I realized the tennis balls had a message on them stating “Will You Marry Me” and then he got down one knee!”

Didn’t we tell you that her story was sweet? She and Keating are definitely a perfect match! Now that she was engaged, Brittany did what we all do: shop for her wedding dress.”

Tell us about your wedding day!

“All of the planning came together with a little bit of rain. Having all of our family and friends celebrate our big day with us meant the world to us. I could not have done all of this planning without my wonderful parents. A huge thank you to my parents for the most beautiful wedding their little girl could have asked for. Cheers to us newlyweds – Mr. and Mrs. Mohrman!”
