Springy, Romantic Sweet Pea Wedding | Editorial

A sweet lyric about true love from Amos Lee’s song “Sweet Pea” is the muse behind this spring wedding editorial:

“Sweet pea

Apple of my eye

Don’t know when and I don’t know why

You’re the only reason I keep on coming home.”

Photographer Victoria of Victoria Grace Photography was also inspired by the notion that “wedding days should be full of fun and laughter and color.” So, she rounded up a team of like-minded Asheville local vendors to bring her vision to life!

The florist, Stargazers Designs, wove in fresh sweet-pea blooms throughout while Victoria and her team organized with real-life newlyweds as the models, incorporated the song lyrics into the stationery, and had a local distillery create a custom sweet-pea cocktail using locally made gin. All that pretty confetti? Those are dried flowers, chosen with the intention of staying eco-friendly.

Wondering about the bride’s look? That’s our Celestia top and Sky skirt in blue paired with earrings custom made to vibe with her finery, which you can find here!
