The smiles on Whitney and BJ’s faces say it all—they were made for each other! Clearly, this is a couple that likes to have fun—they planned a St. Patrick’s Day wedding, complete with shamrock head boppers, green bowler hats, and festive St. Patty’s Day necklaces. But that holiday didn’t define their celebration, it simply seasoned it with a playfulness that echoes that between Whitney and BJ.
All those fun props came on the scene at the end of the reception. Before that, the only homage to the luck of the Irish were the groomsmen’s cufflinks and bow ties. The rest of their day was all about love and timeless, contemporary style. Our creative bride has a textile degree from Alabama, and her mom is an interior designer and store owner. Together, they founded the Piper Collection, which creates custom designer pillows with vibrant and eye-catching color and texture.
Whitney’s love of fine textiles and craftsmanship also influenced her choice of gown. We’re proud to say that, when she visited Ladies of Lineage, she was drawn to our gowns and fell in love with Marigold! Its sleek silhouette and peplum train is simply a showstopper, and Whitney looks marvelous in hers—we love her additions of spaghetti straps and a sparkly belt!
