When Stars Align

Summertime Charleston brought Alaina and Ian together. It was the summer before her senior year in college. Alaina was in town working for AmeriCorps and Ian at the brewery Edmunds Oast. As the sunny days and velvet nights passed, they got to know each other, and Ian began gathering the courage to ask Alaina out. When he finally did, it was the night before Alaina was heading back to college in North Carolina! A month later, Ian went camping in Asheville, NC, Alaina joined him, and after some time long distance, it was clear to both that they were meant to be! So they moved together to Washington, DC, where Alaina is working on her master’s degree.

Autumn Magic at White Hall Vineyard

The Estate at White Hall Vineyard is tucked into picturesque King George County—and all that beauty was on display on Alaina and Ian’s day! These two packed every inch of their wedding with charming Fantastic Mr. Fox details and autumnal vibes. Alaina wore her beautiful wedding gown (our flowy, floral Esperanza with a custom bow), with a lace-edged cathedral veil. Meanwhile, her bridesmaids rocked dresses in shades of rich pumpkin velvet. And Ian? He and his groomsmen were extra dapper in loden suits. Even their pupper got into the autumnal action – they wore a sweet sweater of deep fall hues.
