Golden light. Air that hints of colder days. Rich color. Romance. Alida and Ryan’s early fall celebration checks all the season’s boxes and then some.
These two started their Niagara wine country wedding at the sweet cottage at the Inn on the Twenty. Both our bride and groom got ready (in separate rooms!). Alida’s gown—with its sheer Swiss-dot neckline and form-following silhouette—was a custom design from our Toronto wedding dress shop. Can we just say we love a bridesmaid reveal? Sure, a first look is romantic and a father-daughter moment is sweet, but showing your besties your wedding day ensemble? So many happy, awesome emotions pinging all over the place!
Following their super romantic first look, Alida and Ryan headed to the retreat room at Cave Spring Vineyard to exchange vows. Our just-marrieds then stole away into the vineyard for a quick photo session, and then they took off for their reception in style in a gorgeous vintage Corvette Stingray restored by Ryan’s dad!
The Windows Room at the Inn on the Twenty is a beautiful space—add to that all the personal touches and it was pure magic. Those teacups are from grandmothers, and all those stacked books reflect Alida and Ryan’s love of reading.
