Sweet Wedding at Grace Winery | Danielle + Frank

Anyone who’s heard a truly bone-shaking clap of thunder knows how it gets your energy jumping. It’s exciting… except when you’re about to get married. Less than an hour before Danielle and Frank were going to walk down the aisle, a massive thunderstorm was barreling its way toward their venue, Grace Winery.

These two love the outdoors and had planned to wed in the garden, so they made the decision to wait it out. Their plan worked! The storm blew through quickly, their vendor team cleaned up the ceremony site, and guests were in their seats only 15 minutes later than the original start time. The storm was still close-ish, so booms of thunder punctuated the entire ceremony.  In fact, their photographer, Heather Marie, reported, “It actually was timed perfectly with the ceremony. So much so that one cracked at the exact moment that the officiant told the couple to kiss!”

Danielle and Frank took it all in stride, their happy, so-in-love energy providing all the sunshine.
