Monarch Butterfly Wedding Editorial

Happiness and good luck wrapped in a pretty package? Yes, please!

Enter the monarch butterfly, whose symbolism is only rivaled by its beauty. As wedding inspiration, they’ve long been loved by nature-loving brides and grooms whose celebration begins and ends outdoors. But our little fluttering friends are stunning within a modern, indoor wedding, too. This airy shoot captured by Cloud Nine Photography aims to illustrate how by drawing on the butterfly’s colors…as well as some unexpected elements, too.  Ribbons and butterflies hang from the ceiling in lieu of a centerpiece, a mirrored table is set with clear, black and gold silverware and cutlery, and the bride (dressed in our Fleur skirt) carries a thistle bouquet (they attract butterflies!).
