When we think of getting married in a private home, the movie Father of the Bride leaps to mind. Sweet, beautiful, sentimental…so many emotions! It also brings to mind an awesome planner, because every home wedding needs a coordinator like Franck Eggelhoffer (played by Martin Short) to provide laughs, stunning design, and keep things running smoothly.
Amanda and Ben must have seen the movie and taken notes because, when they decided to wed at Ben’s family home in Chapel Hill, they hired Grace Leisure Events. Known for her prowess as a backyard planner, Grace Leisure delivered. Amanda and Ben’s elegant, romantic wedding began beneath a gorgeous chuppah in the front yard, and then flew into full swing in back under a tent sparkling with twinkle lights and chandeliers.
