Tucked right into the city, Meridian House in Washington, DC is a special place. It sits on a side street off a main thoroughfare, and the moment you turn in, you’ve entered another time and place. The venue’s Beaux-Arts architecture echoes that of old European country houses, and its gardens are among the most romantic around. And it was there, in the sun-dappled shade of Meridian House’s storied linden trees, that Calder proposed to Lauren!
Such a lovely setting that now meant so much to them both made Meridian House a natural choice for their wedding day. Plus, it suited them perfectly—a timeless backdrop for a celebration that balanced sophistication with genuine warmth.
Floral Jacquard Meets Garden Romance
Lauren found her modern wedding dress in Gem. The elegant A-line silhouette and floral jacquard were a tailor-made for the garden where she and Calder said “I do.”
