Intimate Farmhouse Wedding | Christine + Tim

Hey there, autumn. We see you rounding the corner. And what better way to herald the season than a drop-dead, intimate fall wedding…in a bubble?

Christine and Tim met at the birthday party of a mutual friend, and promptly (as in the next day) watched a Leafs game together. Three years later, they got engaged while on holiday in Spain. Avid skiers, these two had originally planned to host their wedding at a resort in Collingwood, where they’d spent many weekends. But four months before their day, the resort regretfully informed them that the renovations that were underway wouldn’t be completed in time. So, they had to pivot, which brings us to the bubble (or the Love Bubble, as they fondly call it). While searching for alternate venues on Insta, they spotted a huge, inflatable structure and inspiration struck. They ordered their own bubble, rented a vacation property in Collingwood with a renovated 1876 farmhouse, and set it up.

The Love Bubble was kept a secret from everyone…including Christine and Tim’s 95 guests. The ceremony was hosted on the grounds, with cocktails served in the farmhouse. The big reveal came for dinner, when the two led everyone out back!

There’s so much more to this stunner of a day than the Love Bubble—the ceremony arbor made by Tim’s mom, the lovely, warm décor, Christine’s custom gown, the bourbon they made themselves that was served during cocktails. But we’ll leave you to drink it all in below!

See and read more about their fall wedding on Toronto Life, where it’s also been featured.
