Arya Gown in an Elegant Savannah Wedding | Shea + Bo

Savannah’s cobblestone streets and iconic live oaks set the scene on Shea and Bo’s May wedding day. These two met during their sophomore year at the University of Georgia. After years of shared memories and milestones, they stepped into a beautiful new beginning—especially Shea, who graduated from medical school just two weeks later!

Timeless Southern Wedding Style

The day began at the Green-Meldrim House, where Shea, her mom, and her bridesmaids got ready. The beautiful Gothic Revival mansion—where General Sherman famously gifted Savannah to President Lincoln—lent quiet grandeur to their morning together.

Shea’s chic wedding dress? Our Lea-Ann Belter Arya…with a twist. Working with her boutique, Shea customized her gown with an extended train and buttons trailing all the way to the hem. A lace-edged cathedral veil, its floral pattern echoing the brocade of her gown, completed Shea’s timeless wedding day look.

Meanwhile, dressed in soft shades of pink, her bridesmaids were as summery and lovely as their peony bouquets tied with silky ribbons!

A Day with Heritage and Heart

Then it was on to St. John’s Episcopal Church, a place with deep meaning to Bo and his family. Not only did his parents wed there, but also his grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Following the ceremony, the celebration continued just two squares down at the Oglethorpe Club, where guests toasted the couple and danced the night away with views overlooking Forsyth Park.
