Bridal Portraits | Carlee + Beasley!

Dogs are officially our favorite addition to bridal portraits.

Shot at McAlister Leftwich House, Carlee’s pre-wedding pictures are stunners. The light! Our beautiful bride! Her dress! And then there’s Beasley, Carlee’s pup. Not only is he adorable (that face!), but the joy he and Carlee are so clearly sharing brings a glow to every shot.

Carlee’s search for the gown that gave her goosebumps began and ended at one special shop. Shares our sweet bride, “Monica, at Bellissima in Winston-Salem, NC, was the first (and only) bridal salon I visited “just to see what I liked.” I had no intention of getting my dress that day! I thought I knew the exact dress I wanted—a 3/4th sleeve, crepe dress with covered buttons down the back—but when I tried it on, it was so heavy and hot! Monica warned that the dress may not be a great fit for a May wedding in Georgia and pulled a series of other options for me. I never expected what it would feel like when I found “the dress,” but when I walked out in my dress, there were collective tears and goosebumps, and we all knew it was the one! The lace detail and real covered buttons down the back are so romantic and classic Grace Kelly / Kate Middleton. The waistline is beyond flattering, and the skirt was full but so lightweight it was a dream. Monica is beyond amazing!”
