Custom Gown in a Garden Wedding | Gracie + Franklyn

Growing up, Gracie and Franklyn were mortal enemies.

They both grew up on the same street, had many mutual friends, and crossed paths all the time.

But there’s a reason the enemies-to-lovers trope is so beloved for romance novels—because we all know that sometimes you love who you think is your adversary!

From Holiday Party to Colorado Romance

As they got older, Gracie and Franklyn didn’t see each other as much, and then not at all. Until a Christmas party brought them together. But then COVID struck. It seemed like they’d never get a break until Franklyn sought Gracie out while they were both in Colorado on family ski trips. From that moment on, the two were a pair!

Lush Blooms and Lowcountry Charm

Together, they planned a hydrangea-blue-and-white garden wedding in their home state of South Carolina. Tented and with gorgeous, lush florals, their day was a beautiful balance of classic and fresh. In search of a timeless wedding dress, Gracie visited Elizabeth Cole Bridal and fell for a custom ball gown dress with lace straps and a custom lace topper.
