There’s something chicken or the egg about the joyful abandon of New Orleans weddings. Are people from New Orleans a little wild for dancing and a good time? Or is it the city itself that inspires exuberance? We don’t know the answer, but one thing is for certain—the joie de vivre and heart-fluttering mutual delight was in full force on Alex and Jared’s day.
These two married and celebrated in the French Quarter at the Galeriè de Galatoire, and when we say they celebrated, we mean they had the best time ever (scroll down and you’ll see!). As in, if there were a time machine, we’d hop in, join in, and oooh over how perfect Alex was in her Naomi gown. Sometime in the evening, masks and beads came out, the revelers ramped up the reveling, and then Alex and Jared (along with a brass band) danced into the streets in an epic second line and on into their future together!
