Modern aesthetic and love were in full bloom on Mutesi and Wesley’s wedding day. Helping them celebrate were the more than 120,000 works of art within the Art Gallery of Ontario!
Though surrounded by architectural and creative beauty, the joy these two take in one another takes center stage. Beneath the dramatic spiral staircase in the AGO’s Walker court, these two said ‘I do’, then wandered and danced their way past striking sculptures, historic Baroque and Renaissance paintings, and Ron Terada’s iconic sculpture, Entering City of Vancouver. After some seriously romantic quality time, it was off to celebrate with friends and family in the airy, fairy-light-strewn Baillie Court.

With help from our owner/stylist, Vanessa, at the Lea-Ann Belter flagship Toronto bridal shop, Mutesi found her bridal gown match in Astrid & Mercedes Velvet. Made of fluid silk crepe, she’s a unique drop-waist ball gown silhouette with a dashing neck sash, all of which suited our wonderful bride perfectly.
