Texas Wedding at St. Laurence and Briscoe Manor | Madison + Kyle

Theatre brought Kyle and Madison to Sarasota. They’d each just graduated from college and moved there for internships at Florida Studio Theatre. But it wasn’t until Madison found out Kyle was Catholic that their friendship began. “One night when we were leaving the theatre, I ran up to him from across the parking lot and introduced myself. I said, ‘Hi! I’m Catholic, you’re Catholic. Let’s be friends!’”

After that, they went to Mass together every week and hung out in between. It wasn’t until COVID arrived—with Madison heading back to Texas and Kyle staying in Sarasota—that they both realized their connection ran deeper than friendship. Two years, four states, and two master’s degrees later, Kyle proposed.

They were married in a traditional ceremony at St. Laurence Catholic Church, surrounded by family and friends. Before the ceremony, they met without seeing one another to share a quiet moment of prayer—a reflection of the faith that brought them together. Afterward, they celebrated with a joyful reception at Briscoe Manor that included a Czech/Texas “grand march” and a bubble send-off following a final dance.

A Traditional Look with Personal Meaning

Madison paired her strapless gown with our Carrie lace bridal jacket, adding texture and timeless elegance to her look. Wrapped around her bouquet was a family rosary that’s been carried by all her cousins on their wedding days—a tradition that brought an extra layer of meaning to her walk down the aisle.
