Vibrant Colors and Historic Charm: Rebecca and Ayush's New Orleans Celebration
The timeless beauty of New Orleans and a perfect palette of vivid colors set the wedding day scene, but Rebecca and Ayush brought the true magic!
These two wed at Felicity Church, where stunning stained glass windows created a kaleidoscope of light for their ceremony. This nondenominational sanctuary provided the perfect backdrop for their vows, and the moment enveloped everyone with joy.
A New Orleans Tradition
Following their ceremony, guests were treated to one of New Orleans’ most beloved traditions—a second line parade! Led by Rebecca and Ayush, and their brass band, everyone danced through the streets to their reception at Il Mercato, a historic venue built in 1931.
Colorful Details and Cultural Touches
Il Mercato’s neutral palette provided the ideal canvas for Rebecca and Ayush’s vibrant vision. The color scheme—magenta pinks, rich oranges, and sunny yellows—beautifully incorporated elements from Ayush’s Indian heritage. These colors burst from floral arrangements featuring ranunculus, snapdragons, and traditional marigolds and yellow carnations.
Rebecca’s bridesmaids complemented this cultural color story in orange and magenta gowns, while her maid of honor stood out in a gorgeous deep burnt orange. The reception featured intimate family-style seating aglow with candlelight, creating a warm and convivial atmosphere.

Rebecca was radiant in her Astrid and Mercedes Astral wedding dress from Wedding Belles. Her square-neck bridal dress, crafted from sustainable eco-duchess satin, featured elegant lines that perfectly suited her free-spirited style. She wore her hair down in keeping with her relaxed, modern approach, while Ayush looked handsome and polished in a navy blue suit.
The day perfectly reflected Rebecca and Ayush—stylish yet warm, personal yet meaningful, and, above all, filled with love and happiness!
