When Delaney and Blake walked separately into a sports bar in Stamford, CT, they never imagined they’d meet their match. That day, Delaney was with her mom, and Blake was with coworkers. By the time they walked out, they’d exchanged numbers. Two weeks later, Delaney and Blake went on their first date…and the rest is history.
In time, these two got engaged and began planning a beautiful winter wedding in Austin, TX, at Chappel Lodge. Their favorite project in planning was, Delaney says, “Our table numbers. We added a picture of both of us at that age, it was so fun to go through the years 1-18. Also, a great way to get more family involved. We spent hours going through childhood pictures, it was so fun!”
Delaney’s search for her gown started with her mom and aunt Karen, who is also our US rep! “It was honestly hard to pick just one from the many amazing styles, but I felt so beautiful and confident in the Robin, I decided it was the one.”

Where did you go on your honeymoon?
“We honeymooned in the south of France, Sicily, and a few other Italian and French islands. It was the best trip ever!”
What’s one of your favorite parts of your wedding?
“The band, PDA (with Moontower Entertainment)! They truly made the night so fun and kept the energy up! Many wedding guests told us they were sore the next day from dancing and singing so much! We LOVE them!”
Any tips for couples getting married?
“Enjoy the engagement and wedding planning stage, it truly goes so fast! Remember to do what is best FOR YOU as a couple. it is so easy to get caught up in the wedding planning chaos.”
