Big Sur Wedding at The Henry Miller Library | Rebekah + Mark

The love story behind this beautiful Big Sur wedding at the Henry Miller Library is right out of a romantic comedy plot. It all began at freshman orientation in college, when the first person not from high school Rebekah met was none other than Mark. The two became great friends, although, shares Rebekah, “Mark would tell you that he was just trying to date me the whole time.” Their first date was August 15, 2014, they got engaged on August 15, 2020, and they got married on August 15, 2021!

When talking wedding plans, they both remembered how much Rebekah had always dreamed of visiting Big Sur. “Big Sur has always been a dream destination of mine, and we were looking to visit Big Sur for vacation a few years ago. On further consideration, we decided we wanted to save Big Sur for something really big, but at the time we didn’t know what that big thing would be. When Mark and I started talking about our plans for the wedding, we remembered Big Sur and thought what a perfect big event to celebrate there! After we decided to get married in Big Sur, we hired Mariah Green to plan our day, and everything else started to fall into place.”

Rebekah’s search for a wedding gown wound up ending with bridal separates—she found her lovely lace Lea-Ann Belter Celestia top at Brides by the Falls and her skirt at BHLDN!
