Miuccia Gown with Overskirt in a Charleston Wedding | Caroline + Cody

Changing up your wedding-day look doesn’t always mean slipping away to put on another dress.

One Dress, Two Stunning Looks

As Caroline walked into Wedding Belles, she hoped to find a timeless dress that made a ceremony entrance and spoke to her personal style. Then she was introduced to Miuccia, our all-lace column gown, whose minimalist silhouette felt so right! The only thing missing was a train that brought the ceremony drama. That’s when her stylist helped her into our Monica detachable overskirt, and Caroline fell in love. To make her Miuccia even more her own, Caroline added a Duchess satin cuff to her preferred straight across neckline.

When she walked down the aisle, our chic bride had all the drama of a ball gown. A quick moment to remove her overskirt, and voila! A sleek bridal gown ready for whatever her and Cody’s reception had in store.

From the Trevi Fountain to the Lowcountry

Caroline and Cody met after college while working with the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans. For two years, they were just friends until they went on their first date. Fast forward to a holiday in Italy, when everything changed again. As they stood before Rome’s Trevi fountain, basking in beauty and history, Cody proposed. Back home, they filled Charleston’s Middleton Place with fresh Hydrangea blues, breezy, low-county garden style, and lots of love!
