How’s this for amazing bridal style inspiration: Jackie O. and Priscilla Presley.
That classic, ladylike, bombshell blend is exactly what Sara was channeling when she chose her customized Astrid & Mercedes Joy gown—and she totally nailed it! Sara told us that when putting together her stellar look, she envisioned “Priscilla Presley mixed with a little Jackie O style. I wanted something classic and elegant with small touches that made a big impression. I wanted my dress to be simple and I wanted my shoes to be fun. Kind of like my everyday style and personality.”
As for Patrick, her groom, Sara was all about making sure he was “just as he is—the classic gentleman…with a touch of fun as well. That’s where I got the idea for his shoes. I hate the classic black patent tux shoes. I wanted some velvet slippers with no socks to match my blue velvet shoes!”
Most importantly, Sara wanted the pictures to be timeless—something she could look back on in the years to come and they’d still appear taken recently. So, she shopped for a photographer that would deliver and connected immediately with Victoria of Victoria Grace Photography.
Said Sara, “Victoria’s photography is the type of photography that will n-e-v-e-r go out of style….Wedding photos are one of the most important pieces of a wedding because that’s all you have to look back on and remember your special day with your husband and family. It was a huge plus that Victoria not only made our pictures great but she made it so fun to be in front of the camera!”
